What happens when an email doesn't match the pattern?

Will it make mistakes?

Every figure is checked against its source, and a total that doesn't foot is flagged and held. When the system isn't sure, it stops and asks — so a wrong number becomes a review item instead of a quiet entry.

Does this replace people?
